How long does the battery last?

Nuance Audio glasses are designed for situational use, providing approximately 8 to 10 hours of continuous hearing support. They come with a wireless charging pad that fully recharges the glasses in around 2 hours.

Can I have my prescription lenses fitted?

Yes. While the glasses come as standard with light-adaptive Transitions® lenses, they are fully “prescription-ready.” During your assessment, we can discuss fitting your specific optical prescription so you can enjoy clear vision and hearing in one pair of frames.

Do they stream music or phone calls?

No. To prioritise battery life for speech clarity, these glasses do not stream music or phone calls. The Bluetooth connection is used exclusively to customise your hearing settings via the Nuance Audio app.

Are the glasses waterproof?

The frames have an IP54 rating, meaning they are protected against dust, sweat, and light rain. They are perfect for daily wear and outdoor walks, but they should not be submerged in water.

How do they differ from traditional hearing aids?

Traditional hearing aids sit inside or behind the ear and are designed for all-day medical use. Nuance Audio glasses are an “open-ear” solution, meaning nothing is placed in your ear canal. They are ideal for those with mild to moderate hearing loss who want discreet assistance specifically in noisy environments.

Is finance available?

Yes. We offer 0% interest-free finance options to help you spread the cost of your £1,000 investment. This typically involves a small deposit followed by manageable monthly instalments over 12 months.
