Phonak’s new flagship platform, Infinio, represents a significant advancement in hearing aid technology, particularly in noisy settings which is a problem for a lot of our customers. It offers unparalleled speech understanding, exceptional sound quality, enhanced connectivity, and new personalised user experiences.
Phonak’s new Infinio range includes a number of models with a range of different features:
Audéo R Infinio: Would suit customers who suffer from a range of hearing loss and it features RIC (rechargeable receiver-in-canal).
Virto R Infinio: Phonaks rechargeable In-the-Ear (ITE) hearing aid is equipped with directional microphones to provide enhanced sound quality and top-tier connectivity.
Audéo Infinio CROS R: Suitable for a customers with unilateral hearing loss requiring a CROS or BiCROS setup, the Audéo Infinio CROS R features significantly improved battery life and works seamlessly with the Phonak Audéo.
Audéo Sphere Infinio: The highlight of Phonak’s latest releases is the introduction of the new Audéo Sphere Infinio hearing aid.
Phonak has revolutionised the hearing aid market with the introduction of the Phonak Audéo Sphere Infinio which is the first hearing aid of its kind to be powered by a dedicated real-time AI chip for separating speech from noise. The groundbreaking device features two integrated circuits: the ERA chip for advanced sound quality, enhanced connectivity, and personalised experiences, and the DEEPSONIC chip for AI-driven speech understanding in noisy environments with a remarkable 10 dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) benefit.
While the Audéo Sphere Infinio resembles its predecessor, Audéo Lumity, it features significant internal upgrades. The ERA chip functions as the advanced central processing unit, handling tasks like hearing in speech and noise, Bluetooth connectivity, noise reduction, and feedback control. The DEEPSONIC chip, unique to the Audéo Sphere, provides real-time AI processing to separate speech from background noise.
The DEEPSONIC chip in the Audéo Sphere Infinio RIC delivers a 10 dB SNR, significantly improving speech understanding in noisy environments. Phonak’s tests indicate users are 2 to 3 times more likely to understand speech from any direction compared to leading competitors.
Infinio hearing aids feature onboard buttons, tap controls, and the MyPhonak app for user adjustments. The app includes a new slider control for adjusting DNN speech clarity and noise reduction, allowing users to customise their listening experience.
