Practice Manager

We are looking for a full time Practice Manager for one of our North London clinics.

 

Background

Pindrop Hearing is a dynamic, leading independent audiology clinic, with branches in Harley Street, Winchmore Hill and Chelsea. We have a team of audiologists working across our sites. We provide a range of hearing care services for adults and children, including ear wax removal, hearing assessments and tinnitus assessments. We see patients for hearing aid provision, working with a range of state of the art private hearing aids. We work closely with leading ENT consultants and provide diagnostic hearing tests and balance investigations. We are one of the leading independent hearing aid clinics in the UK and run a very busy practice.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and dedicated individual who is able to work as part of a team. You would need to be able to provide outstanding customer service, being attentive and courteous to our clients.

The job will include (but will not be limited to) the following duties:

  • First point of contact for patients.
  • Answering the telephone, dealing with enquiries, CRM lead conversions.
  • Making appointments, working with our office management system, diary management.
  • Receiving referral letters from GP and ENT consultants and making appropriate appointments.
  • Ordering hearing aids and other hearing equipment.
  • Managing inventory and stock of specialist hearing supplies.
  • Sending hearing and balance test results and reports to referring doctors and ENT consultants.
  • General admin for the audiologists.
  • Dealing with billing to patients and medical insurance companies and taking payments.
  • Filing purchase and sales invoices, maintaining purchase and sales ledger.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication skills, initiative and enthusiasm to learn and contribute to the growth of the company.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Administrative and customer facing experience in healthcare, hospitality or retail.
  • Prior sales and/or marketing experience will be a definite advantage.

Pay: £30,000.00 to £35,000.00 per year.

Clinical Audiologist

An exciting opportunity has come up at Pindrop Hearing. As a growing company expanding across multiple site locations, we are looking for a motivated Audiologist to join our team and be part of our continued development.

Are you looking to challenge yourself in a professional, clinical audiology setting, working to the highest clinical standards while enjoying the autonomy and financial rewards of working within an independent practice?

We are a CQC registered private audiology practice with three locations in Harley Street, Enfield and Chelsea. Working in bright, modern clinics with state of the art facilities and equipment, you will have the opportunity for a varied role using all your audiological knowledge and skills including:

  • Adult diagnostic testing for ENT
  • Paediatric audiology
  • Tinnitus assessments and management
  • Adult auditory rehabilitation working to the highest clinical standards, routinely using real ear measurements and speech in noise testing as part of a client centred, evidence based, holistic approach to hearing care
  • Prescribing and fitting the latest hearing aid technology from all the world’s leading hearing aid manufacturers, creating individualised treatment programmes for hearing aid patients based on their needs
  • Ear wax removal clinics

The right candidate must have:

  • Minimum BSc or MSc in Audiology
  • HCPC registration as a Hearing Aid Dispenser
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience (with at least one year in the NHS)
  • Be enthusiastic, professional and passionate about audiology
  • Focused on providing outstanding, patient centred hearing care
  • Have a growth mindset, with a focus on continual improvement in knowledge and skills
  • Be an outstanding team player and thrive in a supportive, collaborative environment
  • Have excellent communication skills
