Dr Rony Ganguly is the Founder and Managing Director of Pindrop Hearing. He has dual registration with the HCPC as a Clinical Scientist in Audiology and as a Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser.
He has both a Master’s Degree and a Doctorate Degree in Audiology obtained from University College London (UCL) and Nova South eastern University (NSU, Florida) in 1999 and 2020, respectively.
He is the former Chairman of the Association of Independent Hearing Healthcare Professionals (AIHHP) where he was responsible for developing and implementing the Audiological Certificate of Excellence (A.C.E), a national in-service training scheme for advanced audiology practitioners working in the independent sector.
With over 20 years’ experience as a Clinical Audiologist, he is a former lecturer in Audiology at the prestigious UCL Ear Institute, where he taught on both the undergraduate and Master’s degree programs.
Between 2000 and 2007 he worked as an Audiological Scientist at Guys’ & St Thomas’ Hospital, where he completed his post graduate clinical training and was awarded the Certificate of Audiological Competence (CAC).
He is one of the very few Audiologists working in the private sector who has training and experience in all aspects of clinical Audiology including advanced diagnostic audiology, Ear Wax Removal, vestibular testing, paediatric audiology, tinnitus assessment, Auditory Processing Disorders, Cochlear Implantation and Advanced Digital Hearing Aid technology.
Dr Ganguly set up Pindrop Hearing in 2006 and as the practice grew and more Audiologists were added to the team, in 2017 he moved the practice to a brand new facility at 41 Harley street, which he designed and built with the latest equipment and facilities including purpose built sound proof rooms with Paediatric VRA testing and a full vestibular testing suite, so that Pindrop Hearing could deliver the very highest quality and comprehensive range of Audiological services.
A further two purpose built Audiology clinics were added in Winchmore Hill, North London in 2015 and most recently in 2022 a new clinic at 412 King’s Road Chelsea. All the clinics were designed built to the same exacting standards.
Today Pindrop Hearing has a team of Five full time, highly qualified and experienced audiologists, that work between all three branches to deliver the highest quality and standards of clinical audiology.
Dr Ganguly is passionate about maintaining the best possible standards of patient care at Pindrop Hearing. He has therefore personally selected and works with each audiologist individually and as a group, to ensure that they are following the correct Pindrop hearing protocols and that their values and beliefs are in line with that of the Pindrop company culture of excellence and patient centred care.
Although he is no longer involved in direct patient appointments, Dr Ganguly splits his time between all three branches to make sure he can support the Pindrop Hearing team and ensure services are being delivered to the standards expected from Pindrop Hearing.
