Why did you get into audiology?
Having a father as a doctor I had always wanted to be involved in the medical field, and to help people. Hearing is such a vital part of our ability to communicate, being an audiologist helps me give access to or even improve on hearing for people who may struggle with this aspect of communication. I’m able to work with people across the age spectrum which I love. I also enjoy technology and working with various hearing aids in the field of audiology excites me.
What do you like about audiology/being an Audiologist?
I love that I am able to find solutions to the problems many of my patients with hearing difficulties may face using modern technology. I love that I am able to work with people from all walks of life to help improve on their quality of life and ability to communicate more effectively in their environments. I feel like I am always giving back and educating in this profession which is important to me as an individual.
