The Hint pro test - exclusive to Pindrop Hearing

The HINT Pro Hearing In Noise Test is widely used in the US and in research institutions and has been shown to be an essential part of hearing aid fitting.

Pindrop Hearing is the first private audiology practice in the UK to offer this test. We use the HINT test to measure your ability to hear speech against background noise. It provides a direct measure of the effectiveness of your hearing aids. All patients who come to see us at our Harley Street headquarters are offered the HINT Pro test.

How the HINT Pro test works

The HINT measures speech discrimination in quiet and in noise, through calibrated loudspeakers. It allows us to directly measure the benefit of hearing aids, by comparing scores before and after they have been fitted.

It gives objective, documented evidence of the benefit of the hearing aid fitting:
