In 1967, Starkey Founder and CEO William F. Austin founded a hearing instrument repair service in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA. Four years later, he acquired a small earmould company called Starkey Laboratories, and merged his companies under the Starkey name.

The S Series iQ is a range of hearing aids from Starkey based on their latest Drive Architecture.

S Series iQ 11 – Designed for vibrant lifestyles, with sound processing in 16 channels providing optimum level performance in a broad range of listening environments including high levels of background noise.

S Series iQ 9 – Designed for active lifestyles, with sound processing in 12 channels providing high level performance in a broad range of listening environments including moderate levels of background noise.

S Series iQ 7 – Designed for social lifestyles, with sound processing in 8 channels providing reliable performance in minimal to moderate levels of background noise.

PureWave Feedback Eliminator: Starkey hearing aids virtually eliminate buzzing and whistling.

Voice iQ: Improves speech intelligibility in noise, by constantly seeking out speech and applying noise reduction in all 16 channels between pauses in speech, it can reduce listening effort and listening fatigue.
