AIHHP is a group of leading independent practitioners who are dedicated to promoting and maintaining the very highest professional and ethical standards in hearing healthcare provision. There are strict criteria for membership and each application is thoroughly assessed. It is applicable only to those practitioners operating full time hearing clinics, delivering the highest standards of Hearing Healthcare

By accepting the responsibility of membership each practitioner has agreed to deliver an exemplary, unbiased service in audiological assessment, independent advice, expert fitting of hearing instruments and the security of quality long-term aftercare. Mandatory ongoing training programmes in new technology ensures that patients can confidently receive the most up-to-date help available.

The Association's strict Code of Practice sets standards that exceed those required of other hearing aid dispensers. Every registered member has adopted defined procedures in hearing healthcare practice management, using only the highest specification testing equipment in consulting rooms and demonstrating knowledge of the most sophisticated, state-of-the-art hearing instrument systems.

The Association of Independent Hearing Healthcare Professionals is recognised by the Government and is amongst those consulted during national policy changes in hearing healthcare.
